How to jailbreak IOS5.1.1

I know its all been said and done before but it has been brought to my attention that many people are still wanting to know how to jailbreak their iDevices.... so with out any further rambling im going to tell you right here how to do both a "untethered" jailbreak with redsn0w's Absinthe 2.0.2 and also, if you where like me and jailbroke tethered cause u couldnt wait, ill show you just how easy it is to upgrade to un-tehered via Cydia..

Fresh un-tethered jailbreak

The first thing your going to want to do is go to this link and download the program. (available in both OS platforms)

  •  next you will obviously install the program
  • after install hook up your device via USB
  • open the program
  • extract the files
  • open Absithe 2.0.4    (if itunes opens close it)
  • make sure that the program recognizes your iDevice
  • click jailbreak and wait
Its that easy :-) no DFU mode...nada! Absinthe is the quickest and easiest jailbreak yet

Going from a tethered 5.1.1 jailbreak to an un-therethed jailbreak

This is incredibly easy to do. Now that your already jailbroken and have access to Cydia, your already 60% done all you have to do is these easy steps and your untethered :-)

  • open cydia
  • wait for all updates to load
  • click on the bottom right "search" icon
  • search for "Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 untehered"
  • hit install then confirm
  • let the boot run then restart
And there you go your untethered :-)

hope this was a big help for any of the questions on how to do a jailbreak. as always any and all questions please feel free to tweet or email me   @ichuckydee -or- ichuckydee6885@gmail.com

Apples new iCloud for developers

Apple has launched a new iCloud.com beta website for Mac and iOS developers. Heres a detailed look at the new and improved features Apple has incorporated into the website.

Notes and Reminders
No real enhancements UI wise for the Notes app, it looks just like the iPad and OS X Mountain Lion Notes app. Also very pretty limited functions, you can create notes and email them, and that's about it

Reminders
application has the same look of the iOS and Mountain Lion version. You can make lists, add a note, and set a time and date for your reminders.

Find my iPhone and Calendar
They got a complete UI makeover. Along with this redesign comes the “Lost Mode” functionality introduced in iOS 6.

The last thing the new website is said to bring is some new features to the Calendar app. Although there isn't anything new inside the app, there is a mention to some new notification settings.
